Mary had wanted to take a flight onto the glacier but the following day helicopters were all full. "A seat may be available at 11.00, but we won't know until we see the size of one of the passengers who have booked. Yes it is a six seater but we have a note for four passengers only." Americans? So an alternative light aircraft flight was found instead. Mary sat in the co-pilot's seat and had a wonderful time! She will want to show her photos and share her experience on return, so you'll have to wait for our return for full details!
